The next IFR season gives companies in Malta four different ways to get their people into the game. Regular midweek football, a weekend tournament, a day of padel and a new five-a-side festival bring together competition, company pride and time with colleagues beyond the office.
The 2026/27 IFR Football League leads into a 2027 programme featuring the IFR Padel Cup, the tenth IFR Champions Cup and the first IFR Fast Five. Whether your company is building a team for the first time or returning with a trophy in mind, there is a format to plan around.
IFR Football League: a season to get behind
October/November 2026 – early May 2027 · Malta
For companies looking for regular football, the IFR Football League returns for its second season. Six-a-side matches on Wednesday or Thursday evenings give colleagues a reason to get together throughout the season, with league and cup competitions to follow.
The programme includes the IFR League Cup and divisional honours in Division 1 and Division 2. Companies can register a squad of up to 22 players and select up to 12 for each matchday, giving teams room to rotate as the season develops.
The registration deadline is 16 October 2026. The final competition structure follows the confirmed entries, and the venue is to be confirmed.

IFR Padel Cup: find your pair, bring your company
28 March 2027 · IK Padel Village, Malta
The IFR Padel Cup brings company pairs onto court for a day of corporate padel. Four playing categories—Ultra Beginner, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced—give colleagues a way to enter at a level suited to their game.
Companies can enter one pair or bring several teams. Group-stage matches lead into the knockout rounds, while food, drinks, entertainment and company hospitality in the IFR Village give colleagues and guests a reason to stay between matches.

The IFR Champions Cup reaches its tenth edition in 2027. Men’s seven-a-side and women’s five-a-side teams will compete across a weekend of group-stage football and knockout rounds, with company colours on display from the first match to the final.
The experience continues beyond the touchline. Colleagues, friends and families can come together in the IFR Village, with food, music and company hospitality around the football. Enter a men’s team, a women’s team or both, and build the weekend around your people. The venue is to be confirmed.
