After the successful organisation of the third edition of the IFR Champions Cup held on the 18th & 19th of September 2021 at the Melita Football Ground, we are extremely proud to announce that the IFR team and Meridianbet have managed to raise a total of €2,750 which will be going towards supporting the ecological rehabilitation of the Maltese Islands through the planting of native trees and shrubs.
An honourable gesture was made by the Meridianbet team that donated part of their winning prize as additional support for this project.
Individuals from the IFR and Meridianbet team will also attend a ‘Plastic Police’ event in order to help such causes even further.
What is Saggar?
Saggar seeks to enhance, restore and rehabilitate areas or habitats; by means of collaboration, research, ecological considerations and integrated conscious designs to facilitate the harmonious integration of the people with their environment.
Apart from monthly or one-off donations, there are various other means of helping this cause such as becoming a volunteer, becoming a corporate partner, adopting a tree or bosque, allowing the foundation to plant on your land or even purchasing a Saggar kit to grow trees in your own home.
