The countdown is on.
On 5 and 6 September 2026, the IFR Champions Cup, powered by NEO Group, returns to the Pembroke Football Ground for another weekend of corporate football, competition, teamwork and networking.
Bringing together companies from across Malta’s corporate community, the Champions Cup has become one of the standout dates on the IFR calendar, giving colleagues the opportunity to swap the office for the football pitch and compete for one of IFR’s biggest trophies.
And with the tournament now just weeks away, there are still spaces available for more companies to join the 2026 edition.
A Strong Line-Up Is Already Taking Shape
The field is already filling with some of the most recognisable names across the industries represented by IFR.
15 companies are currently featured as confirmed participants, including:
Betsson Group, bet365, NEO Group, Stakelogic, Tipico, Amusnet Gaming, Chiliz, Betclic Group, PwC, Flutter, EY, FDJ UNITED, Play North, Greentube and Enteractive.
But the line-up is not complete yet.
More team spaces remain available, giving additional companies the opportunity to step onto the pitch, represent their organisation and become part of the IFR Champions Cup 2026.

Two Competitions. One Champions Cup Weekend.
The 2026 Champions Cup will feature both Men’s and Women’s editions, creating a full weekend of football at Pembroke.
The Men’s Edition will be played in a 7-a-side format, with teams registering between 7 and 14 players. The planned competition features 30 teams across six groups of five, with every team playing each opponent in its group. The top two from each group, together with the four best third-placed teams, will progress to a 16-team knockout stage.
Saturday, 5 September, will host the Men’s Group Stage before the tournament moves into the Round of 16, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals and Grand Final on Sunday, 6 September.

The Women’s Edition will feature a dedicated 5-a-side competition, with teams of up to 10 players. The planned format consists of two groups followed by Semi-Finals and the Grand Final.
That means two days of competition, multiple routes to glory and two Champions Cup titles waiting to be claimed.
The Road to the Champions Cup Starts Before Kick-Off
Before the first whistle sounds, participating teams will come together for the Official Draw and Opening Ceremony on Friday, 4 September 2026.
The draw will determine the Men’s groups and set the stage for the weekend ahead before the competition gets underway the following morning.
From there, every match matters.
Every goal, every point and every result can make the difference between progressing to Sunday’s knockout rounds or seeing the Champions Cup journey come to an early end.
